I picked up this figure because he looks that bad ass and really fit in with the few Rise of Cobra figures I've picked up. My only real complaint is the same as zed's in that the ammo belt refuses to stay attached on my figure and I'd need to glue it in to make it stay.

I debated picking this one up, but I already have the 1/18th scaled Iron Monger from the first Iron Man movie and really didn't see the need to pick this one up too. Yes, it's a great figure over all from the looks of him, but again, I already have one in 1/18th scale.

Besides the cape, the MLS version is far superior from what I can see. Still he is cool to have but I have only seen him once.

I realized after my 10th IM purchase that I probably have more Iron Man figures than any other character in any scale. I have tons of them from ML to Secret Wars (I even have a Super hero squad one that was given to me as a gag gift) all this line has done is increase that number massivly, and unlike most characters I don't feel any buyers remorse over having so many of the same character. Even the minor variations of the Mark III to Mark IV make it seem worthwhile just to have the "offical movie" line up.

Cool. Hammer waves are a no show in Indy. I've seen the Spidey and Wolvey from the first series and that it at retail. Picked up an over priced Widow at a comic store. Where is Vision, Warpath, Jean Grey, Cage, Thor etc?

Anyway the scale is pretty accurate he is huge in the comic.

Yeah, I know he's out of scale, but he's just too darn cool to not get. I think I'm going to use him for a Super BAT or something... I have to work him in, he's a totally fun figure.

Yeah, man... It boggles the mind. I'm not even a big fan of Iron Man, and I'm totally eating this line up.

This was totally a blind squirrel finding a nut. He was the only one from that wave I found. I had hid him in a peg full of X-Force Wolverines, hoping folks would overlook it. I guess it worked, as it hid out there for a couple days. :)

Still haven't seen a Vision, Jean Grey or Sunfire yet, and that makes me a sad Panda :(

I can't argue with most of your points, Zed. As for the gauntlet guns that you were talking about, I didn't have any issues with any of my poses, so I can't agree with you on that. I didn't have an issue with the BFG, as I could just write it off as it fitting with the War Machine figure. I didn't try the alternate weapons off of comic War Machine, so that makes me happy they're interchangeable. The feed belt was a pain in the ass until it finally decided to cooperate. Once it bended to my will, I had less issues with it. I wish it was attached to the back of War Machine, then maybe there would be less issue with it.

I had no clue about the variant. Huh... I'm glad someone's paying attention around here!! Thanks for the head's up dude!
